House Sitter in Seattle, Washington

I'm an
Individual
Hello! My name is Tressa and I'm looking for a house sitter job opportunity in Seattle, Washington, and the surrounding areas. I am a very responsible, previous homeowner who made a career shift from the medical field to Graphic Design and am just about to graduate from the Design Program at Seattle Central in June 2021. Washington was a large part of my childhood with family spread all throughout and a lot of wonderful history took place here for those who came before me, and while I grew up in Utah and Idaho — and have traveled extensively — I have always wanted to settle in the magical PNW for good and I'm finally here! I've been living in Queen Anne after moving to Washington for school and the rent is a bit difficult to accept being a previous homeowner as I prefer to own my space again when that time comes (although it seems quite doable after living in San Francisco for a spell). My goal in housesitting is to be able to experience different areas while I get a feel for where I'd like to settle, while giving back to people who need someone trustworthy to respect and care for their home, animals, plants, etc. I know how difficult it is to find people you can trust with your sacred assets. I can assure you — I will wholeheartedly. I am able-bodied and can take care of pool and lawn maintenance, garden/plants, animals, and laundry. I have personal transportation available and am very resourceful should you need any other types of services. My father didn't have any sons, so I know how to change a flat tire and know my way around a toolbox a decent amount; I even have my own socket wrench set. *smirk. As I mentioned before my previous career was in the medical field, predominantly ophthalmology. While being a photographer and artist on the side as well for years, I realized I was needing to nourish my creative side in a field that was lucrative, hence the pivot to Graphic Design. I'm mature, honest, quiet, have great credit, and an absolute animal lover. I had two dogs for 17 and 19 years and deeply miss them after losing my last corgi mix not that long ago and would happily take your fur baby out on long walks/runs and give them so much attention. I was also raised with cats and love being around them as well. I do have two little birds that are very busy and loving and incredible little travelers (one of my birds still calls for my little pup that passed on, so that tends to make for awkward moments ... ha). Becoming a bird person was an accident. I don't recommend ever walking into a bird store out of curiosity — just some sage advice. But they've been quite the little confidants. They would just stay tucked in their mini travel mansion and not be any sort of an issue were there to be animals in your home, I can assure you. I have references from my previous landlord that can attest to this. Please feel free to reach out should you have any questions. I am looking to make great, long-term, trusting dynamics that would benefit us both and am very open to new friendships!
