Karen K is hardworking, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service. I have known Karen for more than 15 years. My elderly dad and stepmom first introduced us when I was on one of my visits from out of state. I learned that Karen had been providing help to them by way of yard work and landscaping, household work, pet walking, and hours and hours of quality companionship and friendship. My dad was writing a "book", and Karen spent hours working with him on his computer to help him format and edit his work, and to teach him basic computer skills. Karen is also a capable multitasker. During the majority of the years I have known Karen, she maintained part time employment that required her to travel across a portion of the State of Arkansas. Her work required that she meet with people from all socio economic backgrounds, and conduct interviews that were often extremely personal and confidential in nature. She never met a stranger. To my knowledge, she performed all her duties in a satisfactory manner, and still she continued to make time to care for my dad and his wife. Karen is known for her integrity. There were many times when she was in my dad's home alone, and I am aware that the aforementioned part time employer entrusted her with signed, but otherwise, blank checks. That trust was never questioned or abused. It may sound as though I am writing this recommendation as a friend only, but that would not be accurate. My two brothers and I all live in different states. It has never been possible for any one of us to be at our dad's house each time a medical situation arose for him or my step-mom. Karen has been a loving and reliable care giver, and as such, allowed my brothers and me the freedom from worry that it may be necessary to consider other more secure living arrangements away from their home. After my step-mom passed away in 2015, Karen made herself more available to my dad as a companion. She did things with him that seem trivial such as watching TV, but it was an activity he thoroughly enjoyed. When it became more difficult for him to drive in 2017, she drove him to some doctor visits. Had it not been for Karen, I may not have known how ill he had become, and may not have arrived before he died. Karen is reliable, trustworthy, friendly, and energetic. Her enthusiasm can be contagious. She is tenacious, and is not willing to leave a task undone. Her willingness to help another person cannot be matched. My recommendation for Karen for any job cannot be overstated.
