House Sitter in Chicago, Illinois

I'm looking for house and pet sitting jobs in the Chicago, IL. Currently I live in the Bucktown area but have transportation to travel to any area. While I am interested in short, one-time jobs, my specialty is developing great relationships with my clients and their households to be a reliable long-time sitter. I started pet sitting in 2012 while I was in college for my professors and university administrators that I got to know. My pet sitting experience started with stopping in for a few hours to care for and keep a cat company, and it has since grown to over 12 clients in a variety of situations. As a house sitter, I feel it is my obligation to view my clients homes as my own. I am a clean, organized, and respectful guest that loves to do yard work and care for plants too! While during house and pet sitting I check in with the homeowners as frequent as they prefer, I make sure that when they return its as if I was never even there. As far as pet sitting goes, I have experience with cats, dogs, and even farm animals such as chickens, goats, llamas, and horses. I'm comfortable working with pets that have extra needs, such as medication administration, or injury care while under my watch. When I'm pet sitting, wether I am staying the night or just popping in for a check in, I love to take long walks in the neighborhood with dogs, watch movies, and usually will work on homework for my graduate studies. I have a flexible schedule and like to be accommodating to a variety of sitting needs. I have a cat and a dog myself, so I have experience with behavioral training, potty training, and all around care.
