House Sitter in Eugene, Oregon

Hello! Looking for a house- or pet-sitting gig for a few weeks in January in Eugene! I'll be back home after traveling/working in South America for a year and I'm hoping to make a bit of extra money and help out in the community while I'm in town. I have a lot of experience caring for animals (and grew up with dogs and a cat), and an affinity for keeping places clean and orderly. I'm very reliable and responsible, warm and loving with animals, and would love to help you out! A little bit about me: I grew up in Eugene and studied Environmental Studies and Sociology at Whitman College before working for 3 few years at Conservation Northwest in Seattle, running their wildlife monitoring program. A year ago I flew to Buenos Aires on a one-way ticket to become fluent in Spanish, have an adventure, and try to figure out what to do next. I've been working and traveling in Argentina, Colombia, Bolivia, and Peru for the past year. A lot of my work has included childcare, animal care, farming, and hospitality/service industry work. I love being outside and would be very happy to take dogs on long walks/hikes and do any kind of yard work that you might request. I am active, creative, energetic and trustworthy.
