Hello my name is Rachel. I have been doing house calls mostly for air bnb and VRBO short term rentals for 5 years. When my husband passed away suddenly over 5 years ago i realized that we never took the vacations that we planned and saved up for. With 3 kids, sports and work, life just got busy and vacations got put on the back burner. It was sad that we had no pictures of our entire family on vacations to look back on. i vowed to my kids that we would never again let life get so busy that we dont take time to enjoy life and take vacations. Since then we have taken tons of vacations and have so many memories and pictures to smile back on. Those vacations are what brought me to doing house calls. I rented houses through VRBO mostly and noticed the unsatisfactory cleaning conditions these homes had. When i would contact the host, they all lived out of state or country so trusted their cleaning crews were being thorough and honest when really they were just going into the homes and doing very basic cleanings which ultimately hurts the hosts livelyhood.. One of the owners from a home that i rented in Lake Havasu AZ contacted me and asked if i would be willing to do a house call for her. I had rented her home the year before and she was aware that i go every summer. She asked if i can go in and do an inspection on the condition of the home to see if the cleaning crew is doing what she pays them for. Since then ive checked her home every summer giving her a detailed review of the cleanliness and repairs that need to be done. Basically being her eyes where she cant be. This got me thinking, I would love to do this closer to home in my surrounding cities. Please let me know how i could help keep your contractors honest and your property of value.
