House Sitter in Edmonton, Alberta

Hi, I have a Diploma in Child & Youth Care with honors and are in the process of relocating to Edmonton. I have house-sitted for friends which included looking after their plants. I am caring, responsible and dependable. I am a well-balanced person in such that I enjoy both meeting people and spending time alone. My hobbies include: reading (mainly self-improvement and health and nutrition), jogging, listening to music and nature walk. I am a positive thinker and had completed a 7 weeks' program run be the Primary Care Network called the Happiness Basics. In this program, about 16 happiness skills, based on positive psychology, were being taught. Some of my favourite happiness skills are: Time Use and Meaning, Gratitude, and Mindfulness. I was originally from Singapore, a city island, and have been in Canada for about 20 years. I was a landed permanent resident and became a Canadian citizen 2 years after. I have traveled to Indonesia, Malaysia, HongKong and the United States. I love Canada and its beautiful landscape. I have lived in British Colombia (where all my relatives reside), Saskatchewan, Alberta and I have also been to Quebec and Ontario. I have experience working both in the school setting as well as at the child care centres. While growing up, I got to learn a few languages. I am good at communicating with others and am eager to learn. I am also courageous and honest. I have confidence in myself that I will do a good job in looking after your house.
