Summary: Hello, my name is Tania. I am a 48-year-old woman available for house-sitting. I will ensure your home is well cared for and your belongings safe. I'm happy to care for your pets and help with indoor plant care, lawns, weeding and snow clearing and I have transportation. My professional experience: I worked for a landscaping and property management company on Saturna Island, BC, in my youth. I continued property management, house painting and odd jobs in Australia. As a result, over the years, I am often asked to house-sit and pet-sit for friends, family and colleagues while they are away. I have always found it enjoyable. Pet care I have been lucky to have had many pets myself and would love the chance to get to know your birds, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, lizards and/or chickens. House maintenance ($$ can be negotiated separately) Happy to do interior house painting, shampoo your carpets, water blast your fence, split and stack your wood or clean your gutters, for example. Imagine how great it would be to have some of your house maintenance, renovations or home improvement completed while you're away! Talk to me about any minor repairs, renovations or maintenance. Landscaping ($$ can be negotiated separately) If you have a landscaping plan you've not had time to execute, let me take care of it. Extras: - House maintenance and landscaping start at $65/hour, or we can discuss a fixed price per job. About me: Till June 7th, 2023 - I am in the Nanaimo area for to stay close to my mother while she has some temporary health issues. She does not need care, just the assurance that someone is close. June 29th onwards - I am based in Wellington, New Zealand but may be willing to travel locally. I work online for Information Leadership Ltd in Wellington, NZ helping agencies streamline their document management systems and training staff on using Microsoft 365 SharePoint and Teams. This allows me to work from home as long as there is a good internet signal.
