House Sitter in Moscow, Idaho

I'm an
Individual
Hi all--my name is Megan! I have been in the business of house and pet sitting for about six years now. I started house sitting for family and friends when I was about 14 or 15 years old, and since then I have made it into a side hustle of mine. I network mainly through the Nextdoor app in order to meet others in my area that are looking for a sitter. I have had experience taking care of plants, performing housekeeping duties such as cleaning, taking garbage/recycling out, collecting mail, and mowing lawns. I have also taken care of a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, fish, frogs, rabbits, chickens, cows, pigs, and goats. I am currently a student at the University of Idaho, so I have a flexible schedule. I am currently only taking classes three days per week,. I am a very detail-oriented and precise person, so I can guarantee you that all your instructions will be followed to a tee. My job is to make sure you can enjoy a stress-free time away from your home and return to a clean, safe environment. Please feel free to reach out and chat with me if you have any further questions, concerns, or would like to schedule a time to meet and discuss potential sitting jobs. Thanks! While I am working as your house sitter, I strive for security, cleanliness, and hospitality. My aim is to ensure your peace of mind while you are gone and the ability to trust that your home is in responsible hands. I will be at the house as often or as little as you instruct and will ensure that no unwanted guests or visitors make their way onto the premises. Additionally, you can expect to return to your home being as clean or cleaner than you left it. Lastly, my housesitting services as hospitable and kind. It won't be a surprise to discover a loaf of bread, a plate of cookies, or a handwritten card waiting for you upon return. In addition to these general rules of practice, I am happy to follow any special instructions you have for me, including (but not limited to) mowing the lawn, taking out trash/recycling, retrieving mail, watering plants, feeding/exercising animals, and cleaning routines such as vacuuming, laundry, dishes, etc. I am a college student, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I only have classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and I do not have more than two classes on any of those given days. I also work as a tutor for the University of Idaho. After that, my schedule and work is determined on a first-come, first-serve basis doing freelance work such as housesitting and tutoring. I am available to spend the night any day of the week, and can check in at least every 3 hours if that is needed. If no overnight stay is needed, I can do morning and evening check-ins on any day of the week. I am currently certified in CPR/First Aid/AED through the Red Cross for adults, children, and infants. Additionally, I have completed the Red Cross' course for Water Safety and the Babysitting Basics and Advanced Child Care courses. I have full-coverage insurance. I am currently enrolled in an animal first aid and CPR course through the Red Cross, and expect to be certified within a week. References for my skills are available upon request from previous clients, and I am willing to go through with a background check if that would make you most comfortable. As mentioned above, I am certified in CPR/First Aid/AED for adults, children, and infants. Additionally, I am well-versed in the routines of fire, water, electrical, and weather safety. I will strive for excellence in keeping your home and everything in it safe and sound from any potential hazards.
