House Sitter in Chicago, Illinois

What I am looking for: I'm currently taking advantage of remote work from home life & traveling full-time for a year. I am looking for house/pet sitting gigs that allow me to stay on property while the home owners are out of town. A little about me: I'm a working professional who's been with my organization for almost 13 years. I am also actively working on my PhD in Business Administration so when I'm not traveling I'm nose deep in research and homework. Due to my work responsibilities I will need to have access to reliable internet as I am on camera via Microsoft Teams (Mon-Fri 9am-6pm) in order to facilitate new hire onboard training for my organization. I travel with everything else needed to support my work needs. House sitting day to day duties (include but not limited to): monitoring & utilizing security system, signing/bringing in packages, oversaw general service or maintenance appointments (AC/heating tune-up, occasional appliance repair, etc.), care of indoor plants and outdoor gardens, facilitating weekly trash and recycling pickup, basic cleaning of the residence to ensure overall tidiness and appearance for the home owners return. **I do not do lawn care, yard maintenance or large snow removal.** Petting sitting experience: dogs/cats of various breeds, ages and with a variety of health conditions (diabetes, seizure conditions, skin issues, deafness, blindness) or special needs. I am comfortable providing medication & giving shots need be.
