House Sitter in Kansas City, Kansas

Summary: We hope you are having a good day. WHAT WE ARE SEEKING My wife, Mary and I (age 70) are hoping to find a house sitter opportunity in Kansas City; preferably near Westwood Hills. Our son and his wife (Peter and Carmen Kowalski; is it possible you know them?) have lived in KC for over 15 years and are expecting triplets. They already have 2 young sons (under 5). They need our help when the babies and Mom come home from the hospital, since they have no other family nearby. OUR BACKGROUND We live in Milwaukee, WI and commuting to/from KC is not going to work. We need to be close, in KC, for about 5-6 months. We have experience with staying in someone else's house and having others (mostly family members and close friends) stay in our vacation home, which is 3 hours away. We are familiar with the drill, and being parents and grandparents. We have two other sons’; one married, living in Milwaukee, with two sons (6 and 9) whom we babysit for, days at a time, when they go on vacation (we have also done that for Peter and Carmen’s sons). Our other son is also in Milwaukee, not married and teaches early child level children. Mary and I are both college graduates (I have a Master's Degree in Business), with a rock-solid reputation (never arrested, not even for a speeding charge), and active in our Catholic parish church. Mary (mostly) and I are handy (for light tasks) around the house and keep our own house really clean, but are likely to be on duty 16 hours each day (evening and nights) with the newborns so, major work is going to be beyond our capacity. COMPENSATION We are willing to consider not requiring any compensation as long as there is no rent to pay and the rest of the situation is mutually acceptable.
