My name is Danita, a student at Southern Oregon University studying biology and have been living in Ashland for two years. I house-sit and dog-sit every summer for a month and a half and I have that contact as a reference and can be contacted to know more information about me. I love dogs and can also house-sit cats and do not mind cats and do like cats. I can house-sit for long periods of times or I can come daily for pet service or house service. I can also do some house work during the time I house-sit or dog-sit, I usually clean up the house after each job too. I warmly recommend Danita Carter as a housesitter. I met Danita at SOU, where she is the recipient of a prestigious Ford Scholarship. She has taken care of my dog and house for six weeks, two summers in a row, plus one two-week stint during the winter time. First of all and most importantly, my dog absolutely adores Nita. I have never been worried about his well being while she is in charge. Secondly, she is very conscientious and careful in taking care of our house. On the last trip, I had an extremely tight deadline to get everything ready beforehand. Nita stepped up and helped me take care of errands I was unable to get to before leaving. Nita kept in contact with me throughout my trips via texts and emails. Each time I returned home, the house was extremely clean. I would not hesitate to have Danita house-sit for me again.
