Application: Nice to meet you! My name is Lori. My husband Ben and I are looking to relocate back to the states from our current home in the US Virgin Islands and are looking for house sitting and/or dog sitting opportunities. I work remotely so we are looking for opportunities to experience different areas of the country (and/or world) to help us decide where we'd like to settle. While we do love the island life, we are looking to be closer to some modern conveniences that we are currently lacking. Services And Training: I am currently working remotely as a project manager and have a background in hospitality and tourism management. We have managed properties in the past and are comfortable completing a lot of basic tasks which may help save you some money! My husband is a skilled woodworker, is experienced with HVAC and general handyman tasks, he is also an avid gardener and loves maintaining plants and gardens. My husband also has 7 years of experience working with dogs. We have 2 small well behaved dogs that get along well with other dogs humans and children. Their names are Lucy and Kaylie. Lucy is a 12 year old yorkie-poo and Kaylie is a 13 year old shih tzu-bichon. We promise, they won't be any bother to your home or your own fur babies! We enjoy hiking, biking, spending time outdoors. We both grew up in the mid-west, Ben in Wisconsin and myself in Wisconsin and Minnesota. We are no strangers to bitter cold winters but prefer to stay in milder climates (winter is ok but if zero and below are common temperatures we probably don't want to be there :-) ).
