House Sitter in Ottawa, Ontario

I'm a 58-year-old male teacher who works overseas, but am currently on an extended holiday, studying French. I leave my short-term rental in Montreal on Dec. 12, and, ideally, would like to find a house, dog(s), cat(s) to take care of somewhere between Montreal and Ottawa (my hometown), over the Christmas/New year period. I expect to return to work in February. Generally speaking, I'm clean (actually enjoy housekeeping), quiet, economical (e.g., only the lights that are necessary), an animal lover who, not incidentally, stays in most nights (if you have security concerns). I have taken care of houses and pets (mostly, my family's) on a number of occasions over the years.
