House Sitter in Crown Point, Indiana

We currently own a home in the White Hawk Golf Course Community but will be selling it this summer. It has always been our pride and joy, but find it too cumbersome dealing with two homes (one in FL and the other in IN). We cannot find a desirable short-term rental, so we are interested in caring for your home while you are traveling and/or have a temporary work assignment that requires you to be away from your home for several months. We are extremely trustworthy, reliable, and conscientious individuals. John is a retired sales engineer and Vi is a retired university professor. We can provide impeccable references. We have no pets and no grandchildren who will stay with us--only a few retired siblings in Lake County. We wish to return "home" and continue to play golf at WHCC with our friends and visit with our relatives while "escaping" the humid, rainy, unpredictable summer season in Florida. We will make sure your landscaping contracts and other contractors are diligently conducting their responsibilities, your mail will be forwarded as you request, be attentive to all your utility maintenance (i.e. A/C functioning properly, water heater not leaking, refrigerator/freezer working, be aware of water/roof damage and/or leaks, etc. ). In other words, we will be responsible home watchers so you can leave with the confidence that your home will be in the superior condition you left it.
