House Sitter in Medford, Massachusetts

I've owned both dogs (big & small), cats, and homes for 40 years. Medford resident of 25 years. Beyond"owning" is what I offer... MY PET EXPERIENCE includes rescue/fostering, training (obedience, agility, lure coursing), AKC Specialty Show Chair. I can administer medications, insulin shots, give special care for "seniors", incorporate positive reinforcement, use proper collars/leashes, and pay particular attention to unusual behavior especially in group settings. Will change litter boxes, brush and play with cats as well and of course maintain food/water bowls and dispensers.  COMBINATION PET/HOUSE SITTING While you're away doing the things for your pet(s)you would do and daily chores(bring in mail, put out trash/recycle, check heat/AC, water plants, periodically start your car, shop for groceries before you return, etc) HOME CARE EXPERIENCE I'm a "Handy Gal" with tools and know-how! I can assist with organizing rooms, files, and computer docs, declutter, and downsize. Personal assistant running errands, answering email, scheduling & meeting contractors.. things you don't have time/know how/or want to do. -Pet First Aid/CPR Certified -Adult&Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certified My experience as a Personal Assistant includes but not limited to: -Running wide variety of errands; pick up and delivery -Smart shopping both on-line and in person; -Research on-line and in person -Organizing daily calendars for client -Scheduling appointments, make reservations, find vendors/repair people, making/returning phone calls and emails -Assist with filling out forms -Planning events for client including menus, decorations, invitations (will do some food prep) -Pet care (experience in dog training, rescue organizations, field events/shows, health, grooming, cat care, pet love!) -Personal organizer/de-clutter: rooms, closets, computer files, phone files -Transportation for medical, veterinary, children’s schedules -Home needs including MINOR repairs involving woodworking, plumbing, gardening, landscaping, power washing, tree felling, interior painting. Have own power tools -Assembly such as furniture, tools, toys (like IKEA!!!) -Knowledgable in car maintenance and motorcycle repair. Skills: -Attention to details, creative (former professional photographer), ability to multi-task and solve problems. -Great communication skills both in person and writing (12 years in customer service/retail, government agencies -Multiple resources for recycling/donating just about anything (many tax- deductible) -Adept with Apple products (phones, tablets) and computers (Microsoft programs) Things I don’t do but can find the best person to do it: -Babysit -Housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, etc.) beyond what’s involved with de-cluttering/re-organizing -Meal prep, as in prepare dinner 5 days/week.
