House Sitter in Polebridge, Montana

Hi! I'm a backcountry ranger in Glacier National Park in Northwest Montana, and I'm seeking a temporary caretaking opportunity for the fall of 2018 through the spring of 2019.  I'm reliable, conscientious, self sufficient and detail oriented. I'm an avid hiker and I enjoy the outdoors, and would be happy to spend the winter in a remote rural setting. I love taking care of plants and animals and would love to care for your dogs, cats, horses, or other fur babies while you're away. I've completed the national park service stock training, and have worked with horses in the past. I've spent the summer living in and caretaking a remote backcountry cabin without phone, internet, electricity or running water! I would ideally like to find a position in the rockies, somewhere between Canada and Mexico! Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Idaho, would be ideal. I'd also be interested in Washington, Oregon, Northern California or the Canadian Rockies.
