House Sitter in Florence, Montana

I was born on a ranch, so I was raised around all sorts of animals; dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, horses, chickens, pigs and cattle. I have taken care of any and all types of dogs, cats, and different types of birds ranging from parakeets to chickens. When in middle school and high school I apprenticed under my local veterinarian and was trained in many different types of pet emergencies, ranging from recognizing and immediate treatment of strokes, clots, and seizures in both dogs and cats. I also have experience giving medications to dogs, cats, cattle, horses, and birds, and am comfortable doing so. I have also done hospice/end-of-life care for multiple different kinds of animals, including older dogs and cats. I’m currently a full-time student at the University of Utah and work in health care as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the U hospital. I work part-time at the University hospital but when I do, I work nights, so I haven’t had problems with your furry friends sleeping while I’m away. I also do not have any current pets of my own due to my current living arrangements, so I am very flexible. I can easily walk pets multiple times a day. I have no problem kenneling or keeping a routine schedule so your furry friend stays on their schedule while you’re away! I also do enjoy outdoor hiking with pets during the spring, summer, and fall so if possible I would love to go out with your pets. If you are only looking for a house sitter I am available for all of the sorts of situations. I do have my own car and am willing to drive around the Salt Lake area. I can take care of mail collection, trash/recycling removal, plant care, pet feeding, and snow clearing. Further, I am willing to travel. I have multiple prior experiences as a housesitter as I watched houses and pet sit for almost 7 years.
