Hello, my name is Holly Maurice! I consider myself a seasoned traveller, and have a passion for exploring new countries and cultures and connecting in nature. I have always had a deep passion and love for animals. I am at my happiest and at peace when in their company. I love spending time outside, especially in warm climates - I enjoy biking, roller blading, walking my dog and hiking. I love to read as well as hot yoga and meditation. Meditation is a practice that is extremely important to me as I value wellness. As a house sitter, it is my priority to bring homeowners ease and peace of mind as they leave their animals under my care. I have cared for a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, hamsters, snakes, budgies, and livestock to name a few. As a staff at a local pet store, I gained valuable knowledge and experience about proper pet care such as feeding and proper habitat upkeep and enrichment. While I have an abundance of pet care knowledge, and past certification in CPR and animal First Aid, I know the importance of routine, structure, and safety in a pet’s life. I have excellent attention to detail and will be more than happy to follow any specific instructions left by owners to ensure that your pet is taken care of to your standards while you are away. I will lovingly care for your pets as if they were my own. From an early age, I learned the family business which is professional cleaning services estate downsizing, and developed many skills related to home maintenance and care. I will be more than happy to care for your plants, pick up mail, tidy your home and make sure it is well maintained and cared for while you are away. As I have excellent attention to detail, any specific instructions left by you about the care of your home will be meticulously followed. I also have years of nannying experience. I have worked in homes where I was responsible for cooking, cleaning, and caring for 3 child families and their pets. In one of my past nannying assignments I was responsible for caring for a child with Autism. Following a structured routine was extremely important for this child’s wellbeing.
