House Sitter in St. Petersburg, Florida

Hello my name is Peter Ryan. I am looking for a house sitting position in St. Petersburg, Florida. I’m an active 50 year old man, married to a wonderful nurse, and thoroughly enjoy looking after peoples homes and pets while they’re away. We have our own home in St. Petersburg with two amazing cats named Lucy and Winnie. We enjoy sailing, kayaking, gardening and usually spend evenings reading outdoors on the hammock with Lucy, rather than tv. Spent most of my life in Boulder, Colorado, 20’s & 30’’s, and had an outstanding chapter of my life. That’s where I started house sitting while working in a the restaurant business. Flexible scheduling in that business had allowed me the opportunity to house sit at home and abroad, traveling quite frequently. For the last 10 years, I’ve worked for Trader Joe’s. Prior to coming to St. Petersburg, I opened a Trader Joe’s in the great city of Portland, Maine, where I met my partner Brian, born and raised. Crazy schedules are nothing new to us, so house sitting opportunities can be healthy time apart, or amazing opportunities for both of us! We have made some great connections while house sitting, some wonderful return business and genuine friendships along the way. I am very flexible and will alter my schedule to meet your needs. I have wonderful references. I'm honest, punctual, and reliable. I have years of experiences in the hospitality industry and as a house sitter. Im an animal lover so playing with the kitties and exercising the pooches is all in a days work. Yard maintenance and gardening are hobbies, and plant care no worries.
