House Sitter in Los Angeles County, California

I started housesitting 5 years ago for friends in the television production business who had pets and a home that required daily supervision. I have three semi-regular clients who travel off and on for work who can provide excellent references. Two of them have pets who love me. I am expanding my availability as a “house-sitter” to see what/if any opportunities open up to see some different cities. I water plant, collect mail, feed and look after pets. One of my clients has a home studio and requires that their home alarm to be activated and regularly monitored for imponderable house anomalies (pipe leaks, etc). I can airport pick ups and drop offs, package/parcel pick ups, deliveries and re routes, pay bills, sort mail and I have made deposits for one of my clients who required that service. In my professional career I have provided executive support to producers (expense accounts, appointments), supervised production crews, maintenance and construction workers and I can keep an eye on any on going projects you have. Having traveled for work a bit I have a habit of keeping a small footprint where I stay while working. I am the kind of person who says hello to animals when I meet them on the street. I don’t know if that makes me an animal person per se but I love dogs and cats and have had one or both my entire life. My latest dog Sadie lives with my folks and they keep each other company. I am a native Angeleno except for a 5 year period living in Lima, Peru. I currently reside in the San Fernando Valley, but I can be in any state or country location that is required. I am a project manager and I am currently managing a case portfolio for an attorney in Sherman Oaks. My work is mostly telecommute-able so Wi-Fi is necessary. Previous to that I was in television production. I am an amateur shutterbug, a city safari-bike adventurer and a life long Dodgers fan. I play a few different musical instruments, I like to bike and stay active. When I have access to a pool I’m in it as many times as weather and time permit. All of which adds up to a smart, kind, animal loving, conscientious, friendly, observant, level headed, hard working, house-sitter who can think on his feet.
