Overview: Hey my name is Emma. I'm seeking a home carer job in Manhattan, New York. I am an extremely passionate and tenacious individual. I will work part or full-time as required. I am a born and raised New Yorker, though I spent some time in New England for my collegiate studies at Brown University. I hid out there during the height of the pandemic, got my masters online from Syracuse Newhouse to pass the time, and I moved back to Manhattan about a year ago. I couldn't be more elated to be reunited with my favorite city! As a creative, I don't work a traditional 9am-5pm job, which is why house and pet sitting have always fit extremely well into my lifestyle. While I do have other pursuits I tend to on a daily basis, my schedule allows for flexibility which my previous home and pet owners love. If you have an upcoming trip you are planning I'm always happy to do an in person run through, allowing ample time to get to know how you run your household and what your fur babies need. This isn't necessary but I do understand that you are inviting me into your home, and I want you to feel comfortable with my existing in your space without worry, especially if you haven't worked with a house sitter before! I follow instructions to a tee and am quick on my feet. I'd love to get to know you, your home, and see how I might be able to give you some peace of mind while you're away from this magical city of ours. Service Abilities: I can take care of property watching, mail collection, house maintenance, pet feeding and walking, plant care. I have transportation available within the New York City, South Jersey, and Fairfield County areas.
