House Sitter in Tucson, Arizona

I'm an
Individual
I have been house and pet sitting for friends and family for most of my life. My most recent instance of house sitting was for two weeks last summer; a friend's mother asked me to feed their fish, and I was charged with caring for both indoor and out door plants as well as mail and garbage collection. I greatly enjoy gardening and caring for plants and am even banned from planting my grandmother's garden for her because I have too much of a green thumb. At the moment, I am a full time student in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at the University of Arizona with my own vehicle. The services I am willing to perform are: plant care, mail collection, trash and recycling collection, pet/animal care, and overnight stays/watches. The amount I charge for this will be determined on a case by case basis, $25 per day is just a middling amount. The number of tasks, plants and animals will all factor in to the amount I charge; as well as the distance I will have to travel and the number of visits per day I will need to pay to the home. I am a member of the Pride of Arizona (the UofA marching band) so some days and weeks I will be more available than others. I will be available nearly any Sunday-Thursday outside of classroom lectures, and can make time on most non-game days to at least provide a check-in for your home. I was in 4-H for around 10 years, so I have a lot of experience in handling or working with animals that are not mine. I have also owned several exotic pets such as tarantulas, guinea pigs, and rabbits, so I am comfortable with more unique pets and their feeding needs. I have known a lot of people who have severe animal hair and food dust allergies, so if I am properly notified of these conditions then I will make sure to only visit the house in clean clothes and freshly washed hands and no snacks that may compromise your home environment. I also would request that I have an emergency contact number for someone nearby that would be able to help if an emergency were to occur while you were out of town.
