House Sitter in Lombard, Illinois

Hello, I would love to help you with your house and pet sitting needs. Here's my situation. I am a 53 year-old, non-smoking female that loves animals! I live in Central Illinois and have worked in hospice management for the past 10 years. My position was eliminated and I was stuck in a non-compete until March 1st. I have been offered a management role with a hospice in the Chicago suburbs, but am not in the position to permanently move to Chicago at this time. The office is in the western suburbs. So, I'm trying to think outside the box! I will still live in Central IL and head to the office early Monday mornings and return to my home after work on Friday evenings. I have had pets all my life! I trained my Saint Bernard to be a certified Therapy Dog. We made over 5,000 visits to hospice patients and seniors in their homes, hospitals and senior living communities. He was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and holds the record for living the longest post diagnosis according to the University of IL Small Animal Clinic where he was in a study. I gave him meds daily along with lots of love. My cat was in renal failure and I gave her subcutaneous infusions and meds daily. My availability will be from approximately 5:30 pm through 7:00 am Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and just Friday morning or perhaps to stop by on my way back to my home on Friday afternoon/evening. There may be times where I can stop by during the day but I'm not sure about that yet. I know this is a different scenario than you're probably looking for, but I'm trying to think outside the box. I have extensive pet sitting and house sitting experience, however, my primary career is hospice management. I can provide you with personal and professional references. * I'm extremely allergic to smoke and would need to be in a smoke free home. If my situation does not meet your needs, please keep me in mind should you know of anyone that it may work for. I have a mini-van, insured and am happy to transport pets or kids. Maybe there's someone you know that travels through the week and needs someone to stay overnight weeknights . . . or . . . . has a spouse that travels during the week and would feel more comfortable with another adult in the home overnight.
