I am currently working as an environmental educator for the Chewonki foundation in Wiscasset, ME, but am planning on moving near Portland at the end of August. I dream of running an outdoor education center, and I need to get some active experience in classroom teaching, and some more active experience in EMS so that I can teach wilderness medicine.
I'll be spending my fall working as an EMT and as a substitute teacher, which means I will have very flexible hours, and plenty of time to do any regular maintenance in your home (clearing snow, collecting mail, etc.). I am focused on my career, and have no interest in hosting any sort of parties in your home.
