I have had multiple gigs in house sitting for family, friends and teachers. During these periods I was to stay at the home and required to care for the animals, water the plants, keep up with house cleaning, and perform any task that the house owner asked of me while she/he was away. (ie; wash dishes, do laundry, sweep floors) Each position paid about $50-60 a day or price would vary based on amount of animals to take care of/chores to complete. These are the things I would be looking for in a house sitting position.
