Hello, my name is Jeffrey Jackson and I am a Milwaukee transfer to the bay area as of 2015. To tell you a bit about myself, I grew up in the Midwest and loved it. After going off to Arizona for college I moved back up to the Milwaukee/Chicago area where I opened and ran several of my own bars and restaurants for about 20 years but after many, MANY cold winters and a bit too much snow it was time for a change of scene. After visiting the San Francisco several times over the years I knew it would be the perfect place for me. My best friend and his wife had moved out here years earlier so it seemed like the perfect place to go next. So after packing all my belongings in a U-Haul and made the long drive across the country. I settled in the bay area in January of 2015 chasing the sunshine and warmth. I currently am the assistant general manager of a restaurant on the peninsula which keeps me very busy. I spend most of my days doing inventory and orders, maintaining guest satisfaction and wrangling a staff of 30 . In my spare time I help take care of my two nieces, Agnes who is one 1 and Ellie who is 5. It’s a blast having family in the area and getting to see them grow up! I have had much experience housesitting for friends, family, coworkers and acquaintances. What do you get if I was your house sitter? You’ll get a person who will treat your home and belongings with the utmost care and respect. I clean, am wonderful with animals, take care of daily upkeep (feeding plants, watering lawn/garden, taking out trash), can complete any tasks asked (shopping, deliveries made, etc.), and keep your home running in perfect order so when you return you'll feel like you never left! I treat the homes I housesit in as if they were my own. I understand that letting someone into your home and caring for your things involves a huge amount of trust and understanding and I would never do anything that would break that bond. In addition to maintaining your house on a surface level I am also very handy. After years of running restaurants I'm very quick to solve problems that may pop up in an efficient manner. Anything from broken dishwashers, backed up plumbing lines, hot water heaters, lights, malfunctioning sound systems and computers- you name the problem and I'm sure I've already resolved it. With all of the contacts I have made in the area through work I have just about every type of repair man on speed dial for the problems I can’t handle own my own.
