House Sitter in Halifax, Nova Scotia

We've had Margaret look after our house several times when we've been away for extended periods. Her conscientious, caring and thoughtful character enable us to feel completely at ease knowing we have someone we can trust to look after our home, pets and possessions while we are away. On one occasion, there was a small furnace oil leak in our basement while she was looking after our house. She immediately contacted our landlords (we rent our house) who then were able to deal with the leak before it became a major issue. Margaret even took our cat into her own home while the problem was fixed to protect her from the oil fumes and mess associated with the cleanup. Through the whole process, Margaret kept us completely informed so we knew exactly what was happening. I couldn't imagine what we would have done without her during what could have been a very serious (and expensive!!) cleanup. Can't recommend someone more as a house sitter!
