House sitter in Corte Madera, California

My husband & I are professors who just retired early to relocate to Marin County (I grew up in SF and Marin). We are responsible non-smokers who love animals. We've always had pets (cats, dogs & fish as adults and hamsters, rabbits, chickens, & a horse growing up). We are available for live-in House Sitting and live-in pet sitting starting May 12, 2021. We are vaccinated, COVID-19 conscious, & will treat your home and pet with the care we give our own home/pet.
More on us: I enjoy caring for plants and gardening (I worked part-time in plant stores while in college). My husband is great at addressing unexpected minor household glitches (though knows his limits/when to call a professional). We both enjoy travel, hiking, bicycling, and reading. Between the two of us, we speak French, Spanish, and Indonesian fluently, with some Italian (we taught in Rome for a year), so can talk to your pet in those languages. We've had a lot of experience caring for friends' homes and pets and exchanging homes (& pet/plant care) via sabbatical homes. For more info about our professional lives, see our web pages.
