House Sitter in Bangor, Maine

A high recommendation of Dell Hambleton for house/pet sitting Dell stayed at my Smoky Mountain home, for 8 weeks. In addition to taking most excellent care of our home, she tended to daily horse chores . We live remotely in the mountains and being here and doing outdoor animal chores during winter is no easy task. There were times Dell was snowed in and had to heat primarily with a wood stove and take care of horses in winter conditions and could not get out of our drive way for a week at a time, on two occasions. Not only did she do a great job house/horse sitting, we run a home based business and at times needed to have items shipped. Dell was a stellar professional in helping us with these “extra things” we needed to have done. She is an outstanding communicator and stayed in touch with us regularly with “updates” about how things were going. This allowed us to have a very relaxed trip knowing all was in good hands. When we returned home the house was in good order, complete with a home cooked meal waiting for us upon our arrival. Our horses looked healthy and happy. Dell also integrated well with our few neighbors, and they all had positive things to say about her as well. Dell is very sensible, resourceful, hardy, and has good common sense and I would highly recommend her for any house sitting work. We would not hesitate to have her stay here again when the need arises.
