Hi! My name is Benjamin and I'm looking to make a few extra bucks taking care of homes and pets. I'm an actor/writer who just recently became jobless after the TV show I was staff writing on got canceled, and I'd love it if I didn't have to go back to a restaurant for the time being. I grew up with an Italian mother, so I understand the importance of keeping a living space clean and presentable. Not to mention having the utmost respect for others' homes. Out of my 3 roommates, I'm by far the neatest and I actually really enjoy cleaning. I consider it my own type of meditation. I'd say my OCD helps with all of that. Along with my self proclaimed home-care expertise, I'm also a lover of all animals. I know that sounds so LA, but it's true. I grew up with a cat, a dog, a bunch of fish, a bird, hamsters, turtles and even a pet rat at one point (don't knock it till you try it, they're actually extremely bright). I love taking dogs for walks and of course playing with them. Same goes for cats as well. I understand how important it is for animals to feel loved and get their exercise, especially dogs with through-the-roof energy. That's my spiel for now. I'm not sure how formal one should be on a site like this, but I would always rather a potential employer get to know the real me right off the bat than some thesaurus laden bio with no personality.
