House Sitter in Chicopee, Massachusetts

Hi, my name is Savanna. I'm turning 30 years old next week, and am a life-long animal lover from South-Western Massachusetts. I've never lived a day in my life without a cat at home, and am currently the proud Mom of 5 furry-babies. I've been in an intercontinental relationship for 3 years now, and currently don't have any human children of my own to look after. I live at home with my parents and one sibling, so spending nights outside the home for work doesn't leave my own pets without care. I've been an Independent Dog-Walker/Pet-Sitter for 6 years now and have enjoyed the time spent with my many clients, both furry and human alike. I have experience staying overnight at clients' houses to take care of their pets and homes, involving feeding, walking, bathing, playing, cleaning up after, watering plants, collecting and sorting mail, cleaning up after myself by washing dishes, taking out trash/recycling, vacuuming, wiping down surfaces used (I believe that nobody should go on vacation and have to come home and do chores right away). I am happy to perform any other small cleaning/organising tasks requested during my stay at no additional charge. I have not had much hands-on experience with farm animals, but I am eager to learn how to see to their needs, and I would treat them with the same loving care that I do my domestic Buddies. I do not have any animal-phobias, except to spiders on-the-loose, so if you happen to have any pet tarantulas, I would be glad to care for them in every respect except hand-holding (*shivers*). ----- I have also been a care-taker to children since my nephew was born when I was 7 years old, and have looked after children of friends and acquaintances since I was 13 years old. One of my best friends just turned 8 years old and I gifted him 2 hermit-crab pets and all their supplies.... they weren't the kitten he'd been asking his Mother for, but they were an alternative pet that she felt comfortable with and that he was ecstatic with. I've looked after children as young as 6-months old, and as old as 11 years old. I have reliable transportation, my license since I was 18 years old, and a clean driving record. I do not drink on any regular basis, I do not smoke, and I have never been involved with illegal or recreational . I enjoy doing a lot of arts-and-crafts in my own time and as a side-business, and have found it to be a great activity for children of all ages to keep them occupied and doing something constructive and creative. I would be happy to look after any children in your home as well, or to provide transport to summer or after-school activities.
