House Sitter in Ocala, Florida

I am looking for a mid to long term house sit anywhere in the US near mountains. I am available through May 2018, after which I will be attending graduate school. I am 39 years old and I own a home in the Midwest, which I've rented out to travel and explore the wilder places in the US for the last year. I mention my home just to indicate that I am an experienced homeowner and would treat yours with the respect and care with which I've treated mine. I am a stable adult, non-smoker, no , drink almost never, and I am very content with my own company. I am comfortable in remote places, if need be, and have reliable transportation. I am in love with the land; hiking forests, kayaking waterways, the peaceful sounds of birds, and the beauty of a sunrise/sunset. I spend most of my time preparing for grad school, hiking, reading and doing yoga. I am firmly grounded and low key. I grew up with horses, dogs, cats, small reptiles, and fish. I am capable of caring for any of these and would welcome the opportunity to branch out my experience with farm animals. I hope to raise goats one day, so I would be thrilled to care for yours! I have a dog who is my travel companion. He is a large black lab who is old, well trained, docile, unfailingly house broken, comfortable and safe with other animals (including farm animals) and always at my side. I am the responsible person my friends and family call when they need a house or pet sitter. I can be relied upon to take excellent care of the things that you love and cherish. I will pass a background and credit check, even a drug test if you so desire. I can provide personal references from credible sources. I am looking for a house sit so that I can continue to explore and enjoy the outdoors in places I haven't yet seen. I consider it a mutually beneficial barter where you get peace of mind knowing that your animals and home are in trustworthy hands and I get a quiet and low cost place from which I can continue my adventures.
