House Sitter in Saint Augustine, Florida

Leaving St. Augustine for a few weeks and want someone to stay in your home to watch over it and your pets? We will house-sit for free this summer. in your home/condo near Lincolnville or Downtown St. Augustine -- or just across the bridge. We are Barb and Stew Hart, married 30 years, and previously successful entrepreneurs. We have cruised aboard our sailboat from 2010 to 2015 and are now in St. Augustine to provide our floating home with necessary TLC. While Stew is working on the boat during the day, we need a place to live and would love to find house sitting opportunities close to the waterfront in St. Augustine. Before we went sailing, we raised and loved two labrador retrievers, and would love to enjoy and care for your furry pets while you are away. Barb is a Maine native, Stew moved to Maine to meet her in the 80's. We married and lived in Maine until 2010, renovating a house, raising Stew's son, and enjoying our two dogs, Coffee and Jake. We have valid Florida drivers' licenses, can provide plenty of references, enjoy walking energetic dogs, and giving loved pets attention, care, and companionship. We are available immediately, through November 2017, for assignments from one week to months in length. Since we are new to this process and this site, we are not comfortable putting our personal reference contacts on here. We would be happy to provide them to individuals with whom we meet..... have lived in St. Augustine since 2015 and can provide local references. ALSO, WE SEEK NO PAY FOR HOUSESITTING AND WATCHING YOUR ANIMALS. We see this as a win/win... we get to move off the boat while we make a mess of her. You get two responsible adults to live in your home and care for your pets.
