House Sitter in Berkeley, California

Hello! My name's Nathan and my partner Jolie and I are responsible, quiet, non-smokers and expert house-sitters. We love animals, nature, and gardens, and the Bay Area. We especially enjoy helping out with quiet homes that deserve attention and care when the owners can't be there. I'm an illustrator and comics artist, and Jolie is a nanny. Lately, I've been doing comics about the 1960s counterculture for the Paris Review, and hope to do some research in Berkeley about the origins of the antiwar and free speech movements. We're currently based in Los Angeles, but come to the Bay often, and can do so on short notice, but we're also happy to accommodate plans that need to be solidified well ahead of time. We have flexible schedules and share one car. We've been hoping to move up north, so house-sitting is a perfect way for us to have a base while we explore the area and follow up on leads for a more permanent home. We hope to help you with whatever needs you have with your home, beloved pets, plants, and gardens, while you help us by providing a place to stay while we plan our next residence.
