House Sitter in Valley Village

Hello there! I'm an Actor/Dancer/Choreographer, having obtained my B.F.A. in Theatre and Dance from Texas State University. I have moved to Los Angeles from New York City, and have found a home here! I have over 8 years experience as an Administrative/Personal Assistant and Housesitting/Petsitter/Plantsitter, as well as several years of managerial experience. Most recently, I served as the Assistant Manager for Pilates Studio City. Prior to that, I was an Assistant Manager at Elaine's Bakery & Cafe in Brentwood and Coffee Bean. With most jobs, I oversee or manage. I'm proficient with computers, both Macs and PCs. Plus, I'm an awesome multitasker! I love being busy! Also, managing my own daily schedule and career as an actor/choreographer has trained me well in efficiently coordinating, prioritizing, and with timely follow-ups. I'm my own personal assistant! I am intelligent, extremely hard-working and organized, pay close attention to detail, multitask, thrive in fast-paced environments, love challenges, am very clean, reliable, extremely punctual and friendly with a positive attitude at all times. I believe in honesty, loyalty, integrity, asking for a hand when needed, helping others, trust, and being a good person. As an actor/model in the industry, I've been lucky enough to work on the other side of the camera as well; I'm a great coordinator/assistant for photographers/casting directors/stage directors, as I have experience as as Photographer's Assistant, Casting Assistant/Reader, PA, Personal/Administrative Assistant, Stage Manager, Manager/Supervisor, working on set, live events/trade shows, theatre, office environments, etc! Being a housesitter requires a strong bond between the homeowner and the sitter. I believe the sitter's overall objective is to make the homeowner feel at ease and create a sense of trust and accountability. I think I would be an excellent candidate, possessing the mind frame required for this position. I love helping others out, especially other hard-working professionals who deserve it; we both get something out of the partnership, which only continues to foster a mutual respect and drive from one another, I've found. I'm looking for a job that is related to my field as an actor/choreographer, one that has a flexible schedule, and one that doesn't bore me with it's mundane redundant daily schedule. Plus, I'm strongly suited to assist others in their personal lives; it feeds my soul. And, as my headline states, I always leave homes cleaner and more organized than I found them...ok, I do that in restaurants, coffee shops, everywhere! I am a non-smoker, LOVE pets (will later raise a cat and a dog together to be best friends!), am extremely liberal, have a reliable car with insurance/spotless record, a Droid, Macbook, IPOD, the works! I'm highly versed in errands, coordinating events, making travel arrangements, cleaning/organization, schedule management, internet research, social media marketing, web design, payroll, and paying bills with my experience as a Personal Assistant. I also have an extremely acute attention to detail in regards to cleaning and organization...ok, I'm OCD. I'm pretty much a 1950s housewife trapped in a modern-day body!
