House Sitter in San Antonio, Texas

Hi my name is Matt and I currently live in the Ventura community area of San Antonio (just outside Converse). I am originally from New York and am a new full-time resident of San Antonio, having moved here 5 months ago (after having fallen in love with Texas and the city a year ago during a 4-month stay while here for work). I am pretty familiar and comfortable with the city as a whole but am also still exploring and learning new amazing spots throughout. I would be delighted to care for a home and/or pet(s) in any neighborhood or location in San Antonio. I have a relaxed work schedule for the next 3 months at the law firm I work at (I'm a paralegal) while my boss is away on business. This leaves me with a schedule that allows for the diligent care-giving of a home, garden, and/or pet(s). When work resumes I also have the ability to house/pet sit for any length of time without much notice. I am extremely fond of getting to care for others homes, gardens, and properties and have done so for friends (or strangers who grew into such) over the years whenever I'm able; but I have to say that pets/animals hold my heart most. Having been raised with all manner of pets (but mainly cats and absolutely always dogs) since the age of 2, I can safely say that animals have always been an enormous and endearing part of my life. My father went even further in more recent & post-retirement years and adopted 3 rescue dogs (in addition to his awesome lab Reagan), and opened a small rescue shelter for dogs in Bedford, NY. I view every pet-sitting experience that comes with a house-sitting opportunity as truly a great pleasure and my favorite part of the endeavor. Every individual pet is an awesome responsibility that I take with the utmost seriousness, as well as with a bit of lightheardted and playful joy that inevitably comes from being around animals (I have to admit I'm more than anything a dog-lover through & through). Beyond all other important tasks to manage and needs to care for in your home while you are away, pets also have the incredible ability to provide the added bonus of constant delightful company, & even new friendship. I am grateful for the priviledge to care for homes and animals when the opportunity arrises. I understand that I am being trusted to care for some of the most important things in peoples lives- their homes and their pets (which means their best friends & their family). I value the trust placed in me and regard it highly. I hope to get to take care of what's important to you and allow for peace of mind (which can so often allude us while away and travelling). I greatly appreciate the chance to be a guest in your home and hopefully a new friend to you & maybe your amazing pet/my new buddy ?
