House Sitter in Santa Monica, California

Hi My name is April. If you are reading this, it means you are interested in taking me on as your house sitter. Wonderful! Before you contact me, you should know: I am an easygoing person with creative tendencies and I will kiss a dog before I shake a human’s hand. As you can see, I am a black woman living in a beach city in America, which means seriously paranoid about meeting new human beings that aren’t my family or a wet nose. I prefer large well trained dogs because I’m a large woman…and my shrink says I qualify for a therapy dog. Please handle me with care and especially kindness. That being said… Right now, I am not certified to provide CPR to your pets, however I am studying training techniques and animal psychology so that I can become certified. My services include: mail collection, plant care, trash/recycle disposal and care for your dogs or cats. I HAVE NO CAR…so my services are provided strictly to the Santa Monica, Venice and Marina del Rey areas ONLY. I work as a part-time Usher in a theater , which means work is seasonal. So I am looking for work to fill the time in between shows. House sitting and dog sitting will also help me become a professionally certified Pet Sitter, Dog Trainer and a CPR provider. Working as a house and dog sitter will help me raise money to purchase a car, and gives me the time I need alone to work on my art projects.
