House Sitter in Wilmington, North Carolina

I am a mature (but young at heart!) woman who lives with her husband in and 21 yr. old son in Wilmington, (who attends UNCW.). I would be THRILLED to help out dog lovers who would like someone to stay in their home while away,and care for them and LOVE on them, take them for walks, send you photos of what they are doing and how happy and healthy they are! I myself, have had GOLDENS ALL my life,( except for a couple of cockers when I was little), up until my senior golden, Cody, had to be put down due to Pancreatitis and Cushing. I NEED a Golden Fix or ANY friendly DOG Fix, for that matter, with dogs that need some loving while owners are away! I worked for a veterinarian for several years when in high school, and had horses growing up. I currently Volunteer for a dog rescue organization called Paw's Place, cleaning and helping to socialize dogs. Last year, I completed my Master of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis- training that comes in VERY Handy when training/working with animals of all kinds! It's ALL about Positive Reinforcement!!! I can also water plants, bring in mail, alternate lights in the house, to deter burglars. I can even leave you a home cooked or crockpot meal for the day you are coming back, if you leave the supplies for me, and tell me when you plan to return, so that dinner will be waiting!
