Hello All! Welcome to my profile! My name is Aliana Quiara Sigala. This is a new experience for me, so my apologies if I ask one to many questions haha. Let me highlight some key factors about myself that I believe are important to know! I was born in Eau Claire WI. I essentially grew up there, but have moved around a bit in my life. From the age of 2-5 I lived in Great Falls Montana. It was great! I have family who lives out there on my father's side. I love going out to the lakes and the countryside, as well as up the mountains. Nature is amazing and I think we take it for granted too often. After Montana, I moved back to Eau Claire and lived there until 8th Grade. I then made a big move with my mother to Victorville California. Quite the culture shock! I did love every bit of it though! I participated in show choir, a capella choir, as well as musical theater. Towards the end of my high school career, my mother and I moved back to Wisconsin. As much as we loved California, the cost of living was a bit too much. So we moved in with my grandparents up in Barron Wisconsin. I finished the last year and a half of my high school career there. In Barron, I focused more on sports than music. While I was still in choir, I did participate in soccer, tennis, as well as basketball. After graduation, I attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth until I transferred to the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, where I attend today! I am a music education major, focusing in chorus and secondary education. I have always been involved with music since as long as I can remember, as cheesy as it sounds, so it's a huge part of my life. In elementary school I was in choir and participated in plays and musicals, as well as after school instrumental programs. In middle school I played tenor saxophone in band for the first two years of middle school, and then switched to choir my last year. During that time I also participated in plays and musicals outside of school. In high school is when I found out what I wanted to do with my life. The show choirs in California are, for lack of a better word, insane. We went to competitions all over SoCal. The performances honestly felt like I was watching a Broadway Musical. I loved the vibe of being in choir, as well as the relationships I developed and how much of a family show choir members become. So I decided if I could do this for the rest of my life and help kids in any way I can, especially in that important/crucial time period in their life, it would make me incredibly happy. And here I am! All of my family members are somehow musically involved, so part of me believes it was destiny haha. Speaking of, my family is INCREDIBLY important to me. I come from a very close, strong, Latino household. Grew up with lively music, good food, lots of laughter, and mucho amor. I have a very large family, and they are super supportive of everything I do, even if they don't completely agree with it. I am the eldest of 4 children. I love my siblings more than anything in the world. So I thought i'd mention this, because if there were ever a family emergency or something even close to it, I would of course go to them right away. In my free time, I like to read non-fiction novels, usually within the realm of sci-fi or historical non-fiction. I also like going on walks around town, discovering new interesting places. I like learning, a lot. It's the best honestly. I don't necessarily enjoy the school system we have in the US, but the information I gain out of it makes it worthwhile. I also sing around town a lot, with local choirs, church, open mics, my brothers events, anything I can perform at really. Animals are the best! I love being surrounded with any type of animal. Dogs, cats, rats, mice, hamsters, fish, iguanas, birds, anything! I may be a bit timid at first, but then I usually open up and give so much love I end up scaring them haha. I've never really had a pet growing up, which is why I'm a bit extra when I do see one! Personality wise I like to consider myself to be very kind and open-minded. I've been through some tough situations in my life, so I like to be open minded with people through whatever emotions they're feeling. I myself am super shy, but have slowly been coming out of my shell. But I love to get to know people and sharing stories and such! So I guess that's a little bit about me! I'm open to any additional questions! If you took the time to read all that mess, thank you haha. I look forward to the potential business with ya'll! Take care!
