House Sitter in Arlington, Massachusetts

My name is Lexi and I'm an engineer, writer, and artist currently taking time off from full-time work. I'm happy to take care of houses while you're away, clean, watch cats, walk dogs, or feed fish and other critters! I grew up with both dogs and cats and have taken care of friends' pets on a regular basis. I'm also comfortable with lizards, small rodents, hedgehogs, etc. I've enjoyed house-sitting for a long time, even since I was in high school and college, and I always enjoyed the mornings of being in an empty house. I'm pretty neat and tidy, and happy to take care of jobs around the house such as weekly cleaning, maintenance, snow shoveling during the winter, or plant care. I am often out during the afternoons (I volunteer as tutor and give cultural orientations to incoming immigrants). I'm an easy sleeper and can sleep almost anywhere, including quiet towns, noisy city neighborhoods (and even comfy couches if you prefer to not have a stranger in a bedroom). My rate is currently posted at $12.00/day as an average rate for one cat. Depending on distance, number of pets, and level of care needed, rates will go up (for more pets) or down (to $10/day for no pets) -- we can work out something that feels fair.
