House Sitter in Manhattan, New York

Hello! I live and work in New York City--and love it! I am mostly looking for housesits in my area. If I'm successful, I might try to use it for travelling as well. In any event, I am looking forward to joining this community! I would like to see more of New York, and I think that housesitting can be one way for me to do that. I'm a responsible adult with a 9-5 job. Housesitting will give me an opportunity to take quiet breaks from my normal routine. For the last 2 years, I have had a second job as a resident assistant in a dorm (I divide up each month with another RA; this will not conflict with any planned housesits). I monitor rooms for work orders (maintenance, accommodation requests, etc), manage and oversee weekend cleanings of the rooms, etc. I am also the first point of response for unexpected occurrences when on duty. Summarily, I am practiced in maintaining and responding to the needs of any living environment for which I take responsibility. I bring enthusiasm, responsibility, and excitement for new opportunities!
