Cared for modern home and pets of military family deployed overseas. Maintained home and yard, cared for 50-gallon fish tank and three aged, eccentric cats with spraying and health issues, providing daily medications, assuring veterinary care, etc. Responded to two separate electrical fires swiftly and appropriately, preventing all but minimal damage. Performed authorized hiring and oversight of necessary electrical and plumbing work. Performed estate management for country home on 100 acres for out-of-town owners. Duties included keeping home clean and safe, maintaining grounds around house, keeping firewood in, responding to emergencies such as fallen trees, mud slides, and collapsing driveways; managing a petty cash fund, hiring necessary contractors for repairs and upkeep of water main, outbuildings, etc. Provided food, medicine and love for family cat, one happy dog, and some chickens. Private homeowner. Performed house sitting and pet sitting duties on two different occasions for homeowner traveling out of the country. Duties included maintaining home and grounds while caring for an elderly cat and two rambunctious puppies. Second hire included a contract to paint bedroom in owner’s absence.
