I live in Texas and would like to spend some time in Southport to see if it's a place that I want to live. I love this little town. Everything is negotiable as I have never done this before. I have been a house sitter here locally for a few friends but nothing like this. I have many friends who house sit though and they say it is absolutely the best way to get acquainted with a town prior to moving there permanently. I hope to hear from you soon.
