House Sitter in Calgary, Alberta

I am very fit and progressive thinking. I easily engage with pets. I have been house/pet sitting over the past two years or so mostly for friends and acquaintances and fellow volunteers. I am available for full time house sitting. I enjoy going on long walks and am happy to take your dogs for walks. I will be very respectful of your house and very attentive to your pets and plants. I will leave your home as clean or cleaner than when I arrived. My rates are negotiable and would depend on the situation and expectations. I have excellent references! About me: I am a native Calgarian. I enjoy volunteering. Right now I volunteer for Ten Thousand Villages, Word Fest and Nature Conservancy. I have a keen interest in wholistic health and well being. I am very open to new ideas and embrace new ways of living. I have an interest in sustainable living, gardening, permaculture, and tiny houses. I have a keen interest in environmental and social justice issues. I advocate for Basic Income. I have attended The Justice Film Festival in Calgary for the past 10 years. I enjoy folk music and kirtan chanting. I also enjoy hiking and camping in summer. I have one adult daughter who owned a dog walking/boarding business (I often helped her with her dog walks). I would ideally like to house sit in Calgary, Okotoks, Cochrane, or Canmore areas. I like house sits that are 2 - 4 weeks in duration but will house sit for almost any length of time.
