This Cover Letter Is A Resume To Show Relevance To The Position Proposed. I've worked for a large Environmental Company for the last 10 Yrs. Due to Economic/Budget Cuts, I was caught up in the first wave of lay offs. In July, I relocated from Milton, FL to Santa Rosa, CA, to be near my 2 Daughters and 3 Grandchildren. I felt Pet Care was a good option under my circumstances, as well as my immense life long love for animals. I have been caring for pets since the age of 5 years old. Growing up on a large farm in Ohio, my family over the years had a multi-faceted array of pets (Fish, Reptiles, Hamsters/Mice, Dogs, Cats, Horses, Cattle, Pigs, Chickens and Wild Life Rescue/Rehabilitation (Coons, Squirrels, Foxes, Deer, Etc.) I also raised, trained & showed AQHA Horses for 20 years. My Parents best friends, owned a large multi-million dollar Kennel, where at a young age I was trained and had the opportunity to assist in their operations. They boarded 250 Dogs/Cats a day, to include the Forestry Service placing animals for Medical Treatment/Rehabilitation there, until ready to reintroduce back to the wild. They placed over 650 rescued dogs/cats/pets (From Law Enforcement, Veterinarians & Animal Shelter) into homes per year. Their business included full service grooming, breeding, and supply store on site. Over the years I have had a well rounded education in every aspect of full service pet care.
