Hi there! I have over 15 years of paid, professional animal care experience, during which I've provided reliable and excellent short and long-term ranch-sitting services, dog training and hiking adventures, and animal in-home care to hundreds of clients. My passion is in working with dogs and horses, with a unique approach of consistency and compassion in my work- and always making training feel like fun for the animal. I specialize in equines and ranch care--I have had horses since I was born and was in 4-H for 11 years. I have also worked with a large variety of animals ranging from exotic birds, iguanas, tarantulas, and snakes to chinchillas, alpacas and donkeys. So if your menagerie needs care, please reach out to me! I am happy to stay overnight with your animals in your home or just make several check in visits if you prefer if I am in the area already. I am servicing the appx area of Rico to Ridgeway, and am open to a long term ranch or house-sit within an hour of Telluride, especially for this winter. If you would like me to care for your home, small-acreage property, or off grid homestead, I am competent in maintenance including mowing, gardening, feeding wild birds, troubleshooting, managing solar set ups or doing any other care needed for the property while you are away. I've lived on acreage my entire life and am very familiar with the upkeep required. I have a lifetime of volunteer experience at Humane Societies and rescues helping dogs and horses to gain much needed exercise and skills to be adopted into a functional home. I am also advanced K9 first aid certified, Equine Emergency 1st aid/FEMA responder certified, and a member of Professional United Pet Sitters Assc.
