House Sitter in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Hello! My name is Jaime. I a 32 year old woman, born and raised in beautiful Nova Scotia. From the beginning I loved dogs! We had dogs in my family when I was growing up. As a girl I can remember walking down the road to a neighbour's house to feed and play with his two Huskies. I would take care of his dogs for a few days at a time while my neighbour was away. This was my first pet sitting experience. Although I have never owned a cat, I've become quite fond of my feline friends. A good friend of mine is a major cat lover and has asked me at different occasions to stay with her 5 cats (yes, 5! haha) while she is away. I've cat sit now for several different people and every time I take on a cat sitting job I always love it! It feels so great to discover each pet's personality! At this point in my life I've pet and house sat multiple times for different folks, mostly for friends and friends of friends. I take care of feeding, walking, some grooming, cleaning, and of course playing with and loving your animals! I have some experience tending to chickens as well. It's an amazing thing to collect fresh eggs every morning! I can take care of plants and gardens as well. I tend to have a big veggie garden and many potted plants at my own home. I find it enjoyable to take care of a space, indoor and outdoors. I treat other people's homes as I do my own. Some more info about myself...I spend my summer months working a seasonal job in Nova Scotia. The other half of the year I usually travel and live abroad. Before and after these travels is when I tend to do any stayover pet/house sitting jobs that come up. I most recently took on a 2 and a half month pet/house sitting job in Guatemala. I've been to Guatemala many times before and was happy to return, so I said yes. Three young dogs, a house and a big plot of land with many plants to water...It was great! I'm currently in Nova Scotia and will be available to pet/house sit until the end of April 2018. I prefer jobs more than 5 days long. Please contact me through email if you are interested in talking.
