House Sitter in Cheyenne, Wyoming

I grew up on a cattle ranch in Nebraska and have lived in and cared for homes all over the world. Currently I live and work in Cheyenne, WY for an organization called Young Life. I train volunteer leaders to mentor adolescents. Over the years I have lived with several families feeding and walking animals, getting mail, staying with their teenagers, watering plants and just being a presence to take care of things in their home. I love animals. My grandmother used to take we girl cousins for a week and teach us how to make beds with hospital corners, cook and clean. We were told to always leave a place better than we found it and this is a life motto for me. I just moved to Cheyenne from Rapid City, SD where I lived for the last ten years and owned a home for the last eight years. Owning my own home has made me more aware of how to better care for other's homes, but I have not found a place to permanently settle yet in Cheyenne. I do own a dog. She is quiet and `does not chew on things or bark. I take her often to get cleaned and groomed and mostly she sleeps. If necessary I could find someone to watch her for me, but ideally I like to have her with me when I house sit. She has not had any problems getting along with animals in the homes I have taken care of. I do not have any addictions. I have never done and I have never been married. I also have no children. I try to go to church every Sunday and read my bible daily. I love to read, hike, adventure, laugh, play, paint, write and travel. I do enjoy a glass of wine every once in a while, but after working as a drug and alcohol counselor I am very conscientious of how much I drink and when I drink.
