House Sitter in New York, New York

I was a previous homeowner (14 years) in Verona, NJ so I know how to take good care of home & yard. I can take a look around your home and spot what might give you trouble in the near future, if you like. I can also do minor home repairs -- replacement of porch screens due to pet damage; unplug clogged sinks, replace faucet washers, stop leaky toilets, etc. I can prepare your property and soothe pets in case of storms during your absence; cover up windshields of outside vehicles in case hail is expected, etc. I like to anticipate problems so we can take steps to reduce any possible damage. I love taking care of animals and plants. I have had cats my entire life -- my current cat, a Bluepoint Persian Himalayan lives with my daughter in FL. I also used to have a Siberian Husky. I can play classical music for your plants to grow if you like, as the professionals greenhouse owners do. I work full-time, but have flexibility. I am currently on a NYC project so I can housesit in any area that is commutable to NYC -- in NY/NJ/Philly area. I do not smoke or drink alcohol. I speak several languages so I can communicate with any service provider you may have. I am a native New Yorker. I can help you rest easy while you are away from home by sending you photos of your property and pets.
