On top of this, I am an organizer- able to organize drawers, closets, pantry, etc. and my husband is handy with a project that has been put off for someday. We have experience caring for many pets.I have had cats my whole life and my husband, dogs. Together as a family we have had dogs, cats, chickens, and even a rabbit. Animals love us and trust us, and we enjoy them. As we have traveled, we have had opportunity to milk goats, handle turkeys, and horses. For one family, we even cared for their elderly mothers while the family went on a camping trip for a week. We value being trusted with these situations and endeavor to be worthy of the opportunity by loving as though the loved ones are ours. We have extensive experience of taking care of people, pets and plants. We have kept B&Bs, harvested gardens, rescued runaway animals, and kept homes safe. We sold our home in Va thinking we were downsizing and returning to my husband's hometown, but we stopped short to celebrate our 30th anniversary by taking a trip and just haven't settled down since! Our mothers have both passed away giving us an window of opportunity to explore new horizons. We found a way to see new places, meet new friends, all while getting to love on other people's pets and guests..... have served others with their ecolodge in Costa Rica, gites in France, and B&Bs in Hawaii. We helped friends with their AirBnBs and have enjoyed getting to travel, but not be a tourist. We have chased the endless summer but are not snowbirds yet. We are traveling with our daughter and worldschooling her in this adventure. Before our traveling season of tending other peoples needs and homes, my husband was in the Air Force and his last job before retiring was Search and Rescue. I worked as a dental assistant. We know how to be clean, organized, and careful. As a family we like to enjoy the sunset, play a game together, read and watch movies. We often cook and clean as we go, for we value sitting down at a table for a meal. We don't eat while sitting on your sofa. We take our shoes off at the door, we empty the lint trap in the dryer, we shut the doors all the way and carefully, and we stay in touch with the owners. We give you a peace of mind that your requests will be honored. We also notify you if there is anything that needs to be addressed, like a gopher eating your plants and we need to trap it, or the air con is not working, or the animal's eye seems to need attention and we want to take him to the vet.
